In the 28 days to 21 October 2026, Google sent 2,375 visitors to this website, and our pages sat at an average position of 6.2, which is page one. Our Google Search Console data starts on 26 June 2026. This is how a neighbourhood workshop in Ang Mo Kio got there, with the real numbers, and what it means for you as a driver.
Where we started
Edwin Garage has fixed Japanese and Korean cars in Ang Mo Kio since 2010. For most of that time, new customers came from word of mouth, our Google Maps listing and the occasional directory. Drivers who searched for a symptom, such as “car aircon not cold”, mostly found forums, big chains or overseas sites, not a workshop near them that could explain the problem.
So we rebuilt the website around one idea: answer the questions drivers actually type into Google, honestly, and keep the site technically sound every day.
What we changed
- A page for each service drivers look for: car servicing and repair, car aircon repair and accident repair.
- Google Business Profile, Search Console and Bing set up, so we can see which searches find us.
- Business details labelled for Google and AI assistants: our address, hours and services in a form search engines read correctly.
- Helpful guides published regularly, each one picked from a real search in our Search Console data, such as how to prepare for an intermittent fault.
- A technical check every day, so broken links, slow pages and indexing problems get fixed before they cost us visibility.
The numbers, month by month
These figures come from Google Search Console, Google's own free report for website owners.
| Month (2026) | Clicks from Google | Times shown on Google | Average position |
|---|---|---|---|
| July | 1,369 | 38,611 | 6.3 |
| August | 2,125 | 72,310 | 6.6 |
| September | 2,401 | 94,658 | 6.2 |
In the 28 days to 21 October 2026, the site appeared on Google's first page for more than 4,270 different searches, and in the top three for more than 1,430 of them. A few examples: “how to diagnose car transmission issues” (average position 2.3), “car repair singapore” (4.3) and “car aircon servicing singapore” (4.4).
Rankings move, and Google decides them. These are dated figures from our own account, not a promise about any search.
What it means for you as a driver
The guides exist so you can understand a problem before you pay for anything. Read what a symptom can mean, what a workshop should check, and when to stop driving. Then book an assessment with the right questions ready. That is the same approach we take in the workshop: evidence first, no guessing.
It also means you can check us before you visit. Read our guides, look at our Google reviews, and see how we explain things. A workshop that writes plainly about faults and limits is easier to trust.
Who built it
Edwin, who runs this workshop, built the website and the daily SEO system behind it. After seeing it work here, he made the same system available to other small businesses as Page One Singapore, which he also founded. In the interest of transparency: Edwin Garage and Page One Singapore share the same founder, and Page One publishes these dated figures as its first case study.
The workshop itself hasn't changed. We still fix cars by appointment, explain findings before work starts and keep you informed.
