BMW N20 Engine Oil Leak in Singapore: Valve Cover or Timing Chain?

BMW N20 engine oil leaks are common enough in Singapore, but “oil leak” is not a diagnosis. The oil may be escaping from the valve cover, oil filter housing, timing-chain area or a seal lower down.
